From November 1 to 3, 2024, LaSense Technologies was invited to participate in the 4th China Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Symposium held in Nanjing University. The purpose of this conference is to promote academic and technical exchanges in the field of GHG monitoring in China, to enhance the sharing of successful cases in the field of GHG monitoring, and to promote the independent R&D and application of GHG monitoring instruments in China.
The opening ceremony of the symposium was hosted by Prof. Chen Huilin from the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Nanjing University, with heavyweight experts attending as guests. At the opening ceremony, Academician Zhou Weijian, Academician Chen Jingming and Dr. Oksana Tarasova delivered speeches, highly affirming the conference, wishing the conference a complete success and expecting that the results of this conference can support China's ecological civilization construction and the “dual-carbon” strategy.
In the academic report on November 2, Dr. Xu Ke, Founder and CEO of LaSense, made a keynote report entitled TDLAS+CRDS High-Precision Laser Greenhouse Gas Analyzer, introducing in detail the efforts made by LaSense for the localization of high-precision greenhouse gas analyzers in the past year, as well as LaSense’s industry applications and market transformation results. At the same time, Dr. Xu also briefly introduced LaSense's newly launched TDLAS portable laser gas analyzer for smart agriculture and CRDS laser hydrogen online monitoring equipment for the hydrogen energy field.
In this conference, technical experts from academia and industry discussed in depth the latest advances in the theory of GHG monitoring and emission inversion, the innovative breakthroughs in monitoring technology, and the important applications of monitoring data in cutting-edge scientific research and policy making. The conference further promoted the communication and cooperation among academia, industry and government departments, and provided accurate data basis and strong scientific support for addressing climate change and realizing the national Dual-Carbon strategic goal. LaSense will continue to actively participate in the research and development of gas monitoring technology and contribute to the ecological civilization and sustainable development in China and the world.
