Case Overview

Testing Period

August 5, 2024 – August 6, 2024

Testing Location

Gengtianxia Rice Field, Dongjing Subdistrict,   Hanan District, Wuhan City

Testing Environment Temperature:

35–42°C, Humidity: 50–65% RH

Testing Content

Measure methane emission flux in rice fields   in Hanan District, Wuhan City,

Case Results

Under different rice field and measurement climate conditions, methane emission concentrations ranging from 3 to 40 ppm were measured, and the results showed high consistency with gas chromatography sampling results. The maximum methane emission flux from rice fields was estimated to be approximately 57.8 (mg·m²h¹).

Prior to testing at the Wuhan Taotian site, LaSense Technology designed a measurement protocol for greenhouse gas (CO) soil flux in the laboratory:

First, the instrument’s concentration and flux measurement performance were validated under laboratory conditions. Under different gas mixture concentrations and simulated flux input conditions, the instrument's measured values closely matched the given values, with the coefficient of determination R² for linearity exceeding 0.999. The instrument was then applied to measure soil carbon dioxide flux emissions at a certain park in Shenzhen's coastal area, yielding real-time carbon dioxide concentration changes and deriving soil carbon dioxide flux.

Test results:

• Product performance laboratory testing and validation
